The Quigmans are a family of warp-faced blockheads whose members include Bob (a man so encumbered with low self-image that he once took a job as a speed bump), Francine (a bizarre vision of '90s womanhood), and Jowles (a malformed, enigmatic dog). Buddy Hickerson has been called an institution, but never a lending one. His emotions don't get mixed, his lighting is direct, and his septum never deviates. He uses obscenity only to save a life. He was born naked and has always been drawn to it. He has the look and feel of genuine hand-tooled leather. He seeks to unpeel the overdressed, underscore the overexposed, and overextend his welcome.
