The Buddywatch Quontest Page

There are no current contests. Thanks for looking.

Now for a few shout-outs to past winners of the Big Quig Quontest:

November 12, 2009: The last contest, which ran for well over a year, offered a prize for each entrant that supplied me with the verifiable name of a newspaper that ran the Quigmans. That was all. Easy as pie. The contest received zero entries, less a fault of the contest rules or general interest in the Quigs than of the fact that the cartoon currently is appearing in no newspapers in the U.S.

August 1, 2006: Carolyn. H of Tampa, Florida had the winning entry in our last Big Quig  Quontest and a vintage promo t-shirt for KERA radio, featuring Buddy's graceless imagery, is heading her way as I write this. Kudos, Carolyn, who didn't so much as win the contest as survived the coin flip.

March 1, 2004 : Gary J. is the winner of March's give-away... a pack of ten bodaciously cretinous Quigman greeting cards. Way ta go, Rich!

January 1, 2004: Mr. Paul W. of Denver CO went and won himself a brand new "Bob Quigman for President" bumper sticker. Congrats.

November 1, 2003: We just gave away a thankfully rare "Bob Quigman for President" t-shirt to Chris F. of Houston, Texas. That's two months in row that our Grande Prize has been won by a resident of that toddlin' town, which means that at least two people read the Quigmans down there, which is about, oh, three more than I thought there'd be.

September 1, 2003: Kathy Klimpel of High Humidity, Texas won herself a big, fat, nasty pack of Quigman greeting cards. Of course, after sending these out she'll have less friends than when she started with but that's her problem, not mine. (insert rim-shot here)

July 1, 3003: Tom Heald of Fill-in-the-Blank, Somewhere, USA, is the happy (I guess) recipient of a hard-to-find "Bob Quigman for President" bumper sticker. Keep Amerika beautiful, Tom!

April 1, 2003: Michael Delman, of Canton Massachusetts, is now the proud owner of a "Bob Quigman for President" bumper sticker. Don't burn it all in one place, Mike.

January 2003: C. Chavira of San Antonio, Texas is now stuck with a Quigmans T-shirt. Sorry about that, C.

November 2002: K. Wisler of Baltimore, Maryland earned his ownself a set of Quigmans greeting cards. I haven't heard from K yet (who could blame him?) but I'll keep trying.

Septermber 2002 : Tom Heald of Rapid City, South Dakota won himself a bright and shiny new Quigmans t-shirt. Wear it proudly when you change that oil, Tom!

August 2002: Judy Rudek of Sacramento, California won herself a quite rare "Bob Quigman for President" bumper sticker. Way to go, Judy!
